Unusual Features

The Abomination has Grey and scaly skin, two toes on each foot, webbed ears, and a ridged brow. He also possesses a massively muscled body with proportions considerably beyond those of an ordinary human. Abomination also possesses high-tech prosthetic arm and eye, after losing his original arm and eye following a battle with Maestro.

Origin

As a communist spy at Gamma Base in New Mexico, Blonsky activated Dr. Bruce Banner's gamma ray machine and bombarded himself with a greater dosage of gamma rays than that which mutated Banner into the Hulk. Since specific gamma ray mutation is determined by variations of genetic material, Blonsky's transformation resulted in a less human-looking form than Hulk's.

History

In an alternate future during a nuclear war, Abomination, Hulk and She-Hulk absorbed a lot of gamma radiation and all became much more powerful. Hulk was driven mad and took over the world, calling himself the Maestro.

Approximately ninety-three years later, Abomination and She-Hulk (now calling herself Shulk) teamed up against Maestro. They were badly defeated and Abomination lost a hand and an eye.

After the Maestro was banished back to the past, his gravity police came upon Abomination in the swamp. He learned from them that Maestro was missing and presumed dead, and he then let the mutates that he led eat the gravity police he was questioning. He then led them all on an assault of Castle Maestro, Maestro's former base of operations. They took over the castle and Abomination declared himself ruler. He then took Shulk from a sarcophagus that she had been locked in by the Maestro seven years ago after the failed team up between her and Abomination. Abomination planned to make Shulk his wife. He was then informed of a woman who was pregnant with the Maestro's child. Abomination swore that Maestro's line would not continue and ordered the woman, Betty-6, killed. However, she and others escaped into the past.

Abomination had Kaspin, his vizier with mental powers, torture Janis Jones (great-granddaughter of Rick Jones) trying to get information on the location of Betty-6. He then went to check on Shulk, who woke up while he was stroking her hair. She woke up and hit him. Kaspin then informed Abomination that he let Janis get away because he didn't want to see Betty-6 harmed. Abomination got very upset at this and accepted the offer of a bounty hunter named Quarry to find and kill Janis. He then leaned near Shulk for a kiss. Instead, she boxed his ears and knocked him out.

The mutates brought a tribute to Abomination as he sat on the throne. One brought him a human, whom he planned to eat. However, the woman who was captured revealed that she had the ability to create high-tech prosthetics, and made Emil a new hand and eye. He then dubbed her "Unit". After being informed that the three beings he wanted to kill, those being Shulk, Betty-6 and Janis, had all escaped to the past, he ordered the time machine to be destroyed, saying that the past is the past.
