Elrod was enjoying the team celebration of killing Logan's family with Luke and Eustace at Sonny Stark's Bar when Logan caught up to them, killing them all.

Elrod had a soft spot for Jade's Raggedy Ann doll, he stole it when they killed her, apparently because he could still smell baby-milk on the doll's face.
