History
Edward Byron was a cult/self-improvement seminar leader who used mind-control on his affluent or well-to-do patrons. Going about their lives, a doctor and a lawyer heard an auditory trigger, stopped what they're doing, and robbed a bank. Then they smashed their car into a brick wall at the end of an alley, where Byron's henchmen retrieved the money. Byron also extorted the city of New York by saying that if he didn't get paid, he was going to make more people kill themselves.[1]
