History

The Universe the Marvel Adventures series takes place in. (Except X-Men First Class)

Notes

  • Marvel Adventures is intended for younger readers and replaced the Marvel Age line.

Trivia

  • Unlike most mainstream Marvel comics, every issue of Marvel Adventures can stand on its own, i.e. a new reader can pick one up and get a complete story. While the Marvel Age titles updated the original 1960s stories, Marvel Adventures took the characters in new directions. This line follows Editor in Chief Joe Quesada's philosophy of getting the best talent possible: all the writers have won recognition for their previous work on children's books. Marvel Adventures capitalizes on the popularity of manga by reprinting the comic books in manga-sized paperbacks. Some of these were untold tales of Stan Lee himself, as they have been dubbed untold tales of the Earth-616 heroes and villains.
