When he was very young, Peter Parker's parents died in a plane crash, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

When he was in High School, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider, and given enhanced agility, strength, and the ability to crawl on walls. After the death of his Uncle Ben, he created web shooters for himself and donned a new costume, as the hero "Spider-Man".

At some point in time, he met with Dr. Curt Connors and helped him finish a formula, which Connors would later use on himself, transforming him into a creature known as The Lizard. Claiming it his responsibility, Peter makes it his duty to stop him.
