Doomsman was created by Doctor Doom as the first of an android army. He constructed several of them, but only activated one.
However, Doomsman developed a mind of its own, and refused to obey Doom. Doom thus exiled him to an alternate dimension. Being resourceful, Doomsman developed a way to return to Earth, looking for revenge and using the name of Andro. He considers Doom is the only person threatening his freedom.
Andro turned Doom's androids against him, but was nevertheless defeated. He was forced to escape using dimensional travel.
It is presumed that Doomsman is still looking for a way to get his revenge.
The state of the other, unactivated models, is unknown. However, Doom developed a second, perfectionated Doomsman.
Robotic construction provides body armor, specially against electricty. Cannot be affected by mind attacks, emotional attacks or illusion aimed to human eyes. He is susceptible to machinery-affecting powers.
Invisibility: Only to naked eye.
Dimensional Travel.
Doomsman has the same mind patterns as Doctor Doom. Due to this, Doom can control the android using mind fusion, although this is only of use while Doom is concentrating. Notice that Doomsman only has Doom's mind patterns, not his intelligence or personality.
