HistoryEdit

David Cannon was a mutant super-villain who was stopped by Wasp after commiting a robbery and put in custody at the Big House. When a massive breakout was produced in all the prisons for superhumans, he escaped.

Whirlwind was eventually recaptured and imprisoned in Prison 42 in the Negative Zone, but was killed shortly after when Annihilus and his minions attacked.
