Synopsis for 1st story

S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost 9, Washington D.C., three years ago Victoria Hand is box wrestling with her life partner Isabelle, while debating over her views of how to counter global terrorism towards Nick Fury, whom she believes isn't doing a good job. Isabelle points out to Victoria that she's an accountant and Fury would not want to hear it from her. Isabelle knees her in the stomach, ending the match. Victoria asks Isabelle why she is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.; she answers that she's working towards a world of quality, free of terror. She implores Victoria not to sent the letter to Fury. However, she does so a week later, which Fury doesn't approve of. Victoria was transferred to Portland, Oregon; Isabelle, furious that she didn't listen to her, ends their relationship.

In the present, Victoria tries calling the Avengers for any response, then suddenly, the Avengers disappear.

Osborn is before Molecule Man, aka Owen Reece, flanked by Zarathos, Enchantress, Beyonder and Mephisto, in a strange dimension. However, the villain beside Reece aren't real, as they are the people he wants to be his friends. Reece tells Osborn that he just wants his home town left alone, to which the latter objects, for its is national soil. Reece implies that he could easily kill him, but he will not. If he did, then a person to replace Osborn, others, including Reed Richards will come as well. He sends Osborn into a vision, where he is dressed as Spider-Man, falling from the bridge where he killed Gwen Stacy. He then changes back to his Goblin costume, as Reece's voice speaks that everyone, including those rooting for him, are just waiting for him to fail and he will help quicken it. Osborn is then attacked by monstrous versions of Iron Man, Spider-Man and Ares.

Up in the Helicarrier, Victoria attempts to take control of the situation, trying to think as the agents ask what to do.

The Sentry is in a gymnasium where Reese decides to tear him apart by separating his unique molecular structure. Next is Venom, confused and terrified. The symbiote then separates from Gargan and then rebonds with him, before both turn into a puddle of goo. Reece then goes to Ms. Marvel, who is petrified, commenting that when he first saw the new team, he realized that they are not heroes, but criminals. He then de-petrifies her, trying to strike up conversation, only for Ms. Marvel to attack him. He then turns her back into a statue. He then goes onto to Wolverine, whom he traps in vegetation; for Ares, he has him frozen stiff. Last, is Hawkeye, turned into water in a barrel. However, he still has consciousness and attempts to lash out at Reece. His companions suggest he at least kill the Avengers. Then suddenly, they see Victoria, who declare that H.A.M.M.E.R. surrenders.
