HistoryEdit

The son of Tom and Gladys Smallwood. His father, while at sea, discovered a strange egg and when Gladys broke it open, there was a tiny infant female in it. While she may have been physically different then most, Marrina, was welcomed into the Smallwood family and she and Dan grew very close. She matured at an accelerated rate.

She and Dan were close friends and when she displayed her superhuman powers, it was he who suggested she report herself to the Ministry of Defence. Unknown to most Dan felt a love for her more than that of a boy for his childhood friend, but Marrina married another, Namor.
