HistoryEdit

Cupid "Kewpie" Cueball was a newspaper editor who ran the Free Press newspaper that saw distribution in the American city of Jimtown during the 1940's. He had earned his nickname by putting up the front of a hard hearted city editor, however he had a soft side that was known to his staff.

In his only recorded appearance he would send Tom Powers and Kenny Roberts (his best reporter and photographer) to cover the story of an armored car theft. Roberts, Kenny and Detective Clancy Mullaney would discover that the mastermind of the robbery was bank owner J.P. Morgan, netting the Free Press an exclusive in cracking the case.
