Located in New York, Crestview Cemetery is known for counducting funeral services for Doctor Stephen Strange, whom many believed had sacrificed his life fighting the Beyonder during the latter's second "Secret War" on Earth. However, Strange had not truly died, but instead crafted a spell of forgetfullness that allowed the general populace to believe that he was deceased, enabling him to confront dire mystic threats abroad. Attending Strange's faux funeral were members of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, as well Spider-Man, Daredevil and the Monnk of Kamar-Taj. Only Strange's most trusted associates, Wong, Imei and Sarah Wolfe knew the truth. Funeral services were paid for by the Stephen Strange Memorial Metaphysical Institute.
