Synopsis for "The Skull of Silence!"Edit

Kull is warned not to open the doors to the castle, as doing so will unleash an ancient evil. Kull ignores the warnings, breaks the lock, and opens the door. He is almost overwhelmed by, and barely defeats, the mystic entity known as Silence. After trapping the entity back in the castle, and re-locking the doors, he declares that no one should ever open those doors.

Synopsis for "Trull! The Inhuman!"Edit

Reprinted from Tales to Astonish #21

The mental essence of an alien bent on global conquest takes over a steam shovel and is defeated by an elephant. The story differs from others like it because the hero does not gladly win the affection of the previously shrew-acting female, but instead gives her the cold shoulder. Someone must have told Stan "It's about time."
