Created by Franklin Richards when the psychic being Onslaught seemingly killed many of Earth's heroes. These heroes were, in fact, sent by Franklin to Counter-Earth.
The heroes lived here for about a year, living their lives much as they did on Earth, gaining their powers, etc. Upon learning that this Earth was a construct, though, they escaped.
Doctor Doom stayed on Counter-Earth and the planet flourished. However, Doom became bored and returned to Earth.
