History

Costa Brava was under Communist rule when it was overthrown by mercenaries financed by the Kingpin. The Kingpin planned to use the small nation as a tool in the drug trade. Local resistance forces were able to overthrow the Kingpin's rule with the aid of Rick Mason. The resistance forces then assumed control of Costa Brava.
