Synopsis for "The Living Pharaoh!"

Cyclops has come face-to-face with the Living Pharaoh, a man he thought dead because the police had accused Cyclops of the man's murder! (last issue) Inevitably they battle, but the Pharaoh overcomes Cyclops, and his minions haul him away.

In the air nearby, Jean and the others are trying to find Cyclops, and Jean thinks she has a trace of his thoughts, but it goes out when he is knocked unconscious.

The Pharaoh has cyclops packed in a box, which he is dumped out of once the Pharaoh's plane is in the air. Cyclops, though he can't see, finds his brother Alex is being shipped in a sarcophagus by the sounds of breathing! Suddenly, the other X-Men come upon the chartered plane in their own craft, but the Pharaoh shoots them from the sky. They vow to find Scott, wherever he may be taken.

The Living Pharaoh takes Scott and Alex to an ancient pyramid where he leaves them to drown in a death trap. Cyclops manages to free Havok, who removes the mask from Cyke's visor, and then they make their break for it. The rest of the X-Men arrive, and the Pharaoh's goons are defeated. Then, as the Pharaoh starts menacingly gesturing at Scott, Alex brings his hands up and beams of energy spring from them, blasting the Living Pharaoh! Pharaoh and his men retreat, and Alex Summers discovers that he too is a mutant!

Synopsis for "Where Angels Dare to Tread!"

The 'Avenging Angel' knocks out a the Grady gang and leaves them wrapped-up for the police, but later discovers none of them remembered his name! The next night, he tries again and nails two crooks stealing something from the Atomic Institute, recovering a strange vial. He decides he can wait till the morning to return it, and goes home - only to discover Cyclops and Iceman waiting for him! They ask him to join the X-Men.
