Synopsis for "The Warlock Wakes!"

The X-Men are attacked in their home by a mysterious hand, which sucks the X-Men through 'negative space'. Jean, Warren, and Professor X end up in New England, captives of the Warlock, while the other X-Men get left in negative space. He takes them back to his hidden base, where he reveals his evil plan (super-villains never learn) - to reduce the world's population to an intellectual state where they can no longer use modern technology. Warlock takes Jean, of whom he is enamored, off elsewhere, and Professor X fakes unconsciousness while he summons the remaining X-Men from negative space. Warlock easily overpowers them, but makes them a wager - survive his tournament, and he'll return to his stasis-sleep. The X-Men trash his tournament, smash his mental hold on Jean, and defeat the Warlock.

Notes
