Synopsis for "There's Something Awful on Muir Island!"

On Muir Island, Moira is trying to figure out what's going on with Jean's powers (not knowing Jean is actually the Phoenix Force!). Meanwhile, the X-Men are getting some exercise in the Danger Room. And on Asteroid M, Magneto relives some painful memories. Elsewhere, Mastermind relates he's been toying with Jean's mind. Moira finds a gold tooth in front of Mutant X's cell, and discovers Mutant X has gone missing! Jean goes to help Moira, gets ambushed first by Mastermind's illusion, then by Angus MacWhirter tackling her while she's just standing there. Back in New York, Beast returns to the mansion and gets re-united with the X-men. They call Muir Island and get a panicked Lorna Dane on the line.. just before the line goes dead.
