Synopsis for "Psi War!"

The X-Men get picked up by a Japanese Tanker in the Drake Passage. In Westchester, Jean leaves so she can start dealing with Scott's death, and Professor X reminisces. A young Storm picks his pocket in Cairo and he stops her gently with a psi-bolt, but gets floored by a hostile psi. Coming to, he enters the nearby nightspot where the psi is located. They fight on the Astral Plane, and in reality the Shadow King's body falls over, dead. Charles Xavier stands up and leaves the establishment.

Trivia

  • Misty Knight refers to Phoenix as an "erstwhile roommate" in this issue. This would mean that they are no longer roommates though their separation was never seen.
