Synopsis for "Ghosts!"

Master Mold crashes to earth in the Bering Strait. In New York, Cyclops takes off to look for Madelyne in Alaska. Warren learns that he's being sued for fraud for concealing X-Factor in his financial holdings. In Alaska, Scott discovers Maddie has disappeared. Offshore, Master Mold is stirring and reassembling himself. Scott discovers that Madelyne has no paper trail. At all. Scott is half convinced he's going crazy, but finally finds Nathan's baby rattle behind the radiator, and knows they were real. By a river, a red-headed corpse is found. And Master Mold? He's coming for Cyclops!

Notes

• For why Master Mold was in space, see Incredible Hulk Annual Vol 2 #7. For what Master Mold's return means to mutants everywhere, Uncanny X-Men #246 and Uncanny X-Men #247 might shed some light on that subject.
• Jean Grey gets accused of having her mutant power be causing men to fall in love with her. And its true! Ok, not really, but it might as well be. (It was also implied before in Uncanny X-Men #57, in the secondary story, though never outright stated).
