Synopsis for "Whose Life is It, Anyway?"

Xavier tried to help Storm who had been feeling out of synch with Mother Earth ever since the Brood saga, her changes in appearance reflected the changes of personality she was going through, and they all needed time to adjust. She later helped an elderly couple against some burglars, but they feared her even more when she used her powers. In Salem, Kitty Pryde explained to Doug Ramsey how things had changed between her and Ororo : she felt rejected and hurt that her friend changed so much. At Xavier, Colossus and Wolverine were conversing, Peter explained that he was unsure of his feelings toward Kitty and resented the presence of Doug Ramsey, seeing him as a better match to Kitty than he ever would be. Kitty prepared herself to go along Doug Ramsey to Massachusetts Academy, Xavier explained he worried about this trip since Doug was a mutant with linguistic talent, but Kitty said that Emma Frost was in a coma, and Sebastian Shaw would not want to fight the X-Men alone, so as long as they maintained mental contact everything should be fine. Later, Ororo and her had a stormy and teary explanation about why Storm had changed like she did. Kitty boarded the plane with Doug Ramsey, and in midair Emma Frost welcomed them – she was no longer in a coma. Kitty’s mental cries for help went unanswered as Xavier and the X-Men had been whisked away by the Beyonder.
