Synopsis for "Escape...to Nowhere!"

Namor hurls the shell at the squid with such force that it severs the squid tentacles before it can grab Namor. Above the slain monster there appears a vision of Neptune. Neptune says, “Well done, valiant one! Now must thou proceed to the forbidden deeps to face the next peril that awaits thee!” After the images fades, Namor decides that he has to figure out a way to get out of the sealed cave. Namor starts spinning around and around and uses his own body like a drill to create a hole to the outside. Namor spots one of Krang’s hyrdo-powered soil movers that must have been used to seal him inside the cave. Krang’s men fire a cannon at Namor. Namor swims under the blast and throws over the soil mover. As the men swim away, and Namor swims towards his next destination he thinks about what punishments he will dish out to his betrayers. Namor says that there are some that follow Krang out of a sense of duty, and that they shall go unpunished, but that those that serve Krang in the hopes of getting “undeserved riches” had better watch themselves as his royal wrath will descend upon them. Namor sees “an ancient from the outer reaches of Atlantis”. Namor asks the elderly man what brings him out there. On his knees, the old man says that he has journeyed hoping to see the rightful ruler of the seven seas, and that now it has paid off because he is looking at Namor. The old man says that some people in high places have betrayed him, but that these people love him, wish him well, and will never lose faith in him. The old man says that now when he dies he can do so with a happy heart because he has spoken the truth to Namor. Namor tells the old man to rise because his words have made his heart happy, and that his faith in him will be his strength. Namor says that even though the man is old and humbled that it is for him that he fights and it is for him that he will succeed. The old man watches Namor swim away and thinks to himself that even though Namor is alone, unarmed, and armorless that he is eternal Atlantis. Namor says that he has to go now and seek the second clue to Neptune’s trident. In the castle, Krang tunes in to monitor Namor’s progress. Krang says that Namor should be approaching the second site. Krang observes that Namor looks so confident, but that he doesn’t know the peril that awaits him. Namor is swimming along and sees a mass of seaweed. He realizes that the seaweed isn’t a mass, but that it is in fact a gigantic seaweed man. The seaweed man tells Namor to turn back. He says that none that live can pass through his domain and that in the hidden deeps that he reigns supreme. Namor says that he is seeking the second clue to Neptune’s trident, and that he cannot alter his course until he finds it. The seaweed man says that Namor is a fool and attacks.

Synopsis for "Like a Beast At Bay!"

With the Hulk about to attack the gigantic humanoid, Rick rushes to stop the Hulk before he gets caught in the explosion of the giant "Sunday Punch" missile deployed by General Ross. Hulk finally hears Rick's warning and he grabs the boy and tries to escape. The missile meets it's mark, hitting the humanoid and exploding, and while Rick and the Hulk were clear of the explosion itself the two are rocked by the shockwave. Landing on a plateau, Hulk realizes that Rick has been knocked unconcious and performs CPR on the boy to revive him.
While elsewhere, the Leader watches on his monitor as his gigantic humanoid is toppled, but as the military tries to take custody of the gigantic android, the Leader causes it to self destruct. The Leader then decides to try to either make the Hulk his ally, or destroy him.
The Military meanwhile spots the Hulk making his escape with the revived Rick Jones, and manages to follow the two to Banner's secret lab, where they have the two cornered. In spite of the Hulks defensive attacks, hurling rocks at the military personel, Ross orders an airstrike on the base and orders the Hulk to surrender or else be bomed from above. The Hulk, not wanting to put Rick in danger sends the boy out to saftey and prepares for the worst. At that moment, the mental image of the Leader appears and appeals to the Hulk to be his ally as he has the means to teleport the Hulk out of his current perdicament, giving the Hulk just moments to decide.
