Synopsis for "Save the Tiger" (Part VI of X) - Things Get Bad

Wolverine is recovering nicely and is being taken on a sailing trip by Jessan Hoan in celebration of his recovery. He notices the change in her and reckons it’s for the better. She explains how the changes came about. After she was kidnapped by the Reavers, Pretty Boy had the intention of turning her into a Reaver but the X-Men’s timely intervention prevented a complete transformation from taking place. She was stuck between the Jessan Hoan of old and the Jessan that is now. She tried finding banking work but was refused work at every turn. She was curious as to why and used her newfound abilities to discover the truth. She broke into the Meridian Bank and learned that the bank had turned to Roche to eliminate the threat that Hoan International posed to them. Roche, in turn, employed the Reavers. Jessan soon found herself taking on a more hands on approach to crime in the city and told Roche’s punkboys to pass the word on that there was a new order in Lowtown and the name was Tyger. Wolverine has no time to think about the dilemma this causes, as he catches the scent aboard another passing vessel. He leaps aboard, followed by Jessan and discovers the crew slain. It’s one of Jessan’s ships but there is one man left alive. She rushes to his aid, only to find a stack of explosives awaiting her. Before she can act, the whole ship is torn apart by a massive explosion.
