Synopsis for "The Retribution Affair (Part 6) - Alliance of Convenience"

Scott, Callisto and Moira are put in a prison cell, where the two mutants find their infection to go into a remission, though Moira tells them its only a temporary phase before the virus’ final stage. With the Retribution virus now also affecting humans, Conscience tries to Get Master Mold to stop their plan of launching the Death Spores but the robot doesn’t listen to his reasons. Having no other option left, Conscience turns to the three prisoners for help against Master Mold. Moira blackmails him; they’ll only help if he gives her access to the genetic lab, so that she can try to find a cure. Conscience complies and, while Moira starts her research, Conscience, Callisto and Cyclops enter the spore chamber to stop their release. Unfortunately, they are discovered and Master Mold fires a plasma beam at Conscience for his betrayal, before knocking out Callisto and capturing Scott, whose optic blast still is not working. It decides to crush Scott at the same time as the spores are released.
