Synopsis for "Save the Tiger (Conclusion) - The Rescue"

Wolverine follows his nose and discovers O’Donnell in one of Roche’s rooms, recovering from his spell at the hands of the energy vampire, Sapphire Styx. Jessan has patched him up and left him with weapons, while she goes after Roche. Wolverine helps him up and gets him outside, only to find Roche waiting for them. He fires a volley of bullets, which Wolverine takes full in the chest. Jessan Hoan then appears and decapitates Roche, before going straight to Wolverine and mourning him, believing him dead. She is now in a position to take Roche’s place but the price paid has been high. Sometime later at the Princess Bar, she prepares herself to meet the prince but Wolverine arrives and effectively puts himself forward as her guardian. She slashes at him, testing him, and comes close to death at Wolverine’s hand, but instead she cuts her own wrist and places it on his. She couldn’t wish for a better man to watch her life, or claim it. She kisses him and says that he has won her heart; maybe he can yet redeem her soul.
