Synopsis for "Heart of the Matter"
Tony Stark's friend Rebel dies testing Tony's Prometheus armor.
Some time later Stark is acquitted of charges of corporate espoinage and insider trading. Tony throws a party in celebration, during which Pepper Potts throws a drink in his face. He fires her.
Meanwhile, Bruce Banner aids Madame Hydra into breaking into an annex Stark International in order to dismantle the gamma bomb he created. Hydra betrays Banner and attempts to detonate the bomb. Banner sacrifices himself by taking the bomb underground in order to save millions of lives.
Stark and Jasper Sitwell arive on the scene and discover the Hulk crawling out of the earth. The Hulk takes down their helicopter, wounding Stark with shrapnel. Tony makes his way to the Prometheus armor and puts it on in order to save his own life.
Hulk captures Banner's girlfriend and Stark's head of security, Liz Ross. Stark confronts the Hulk in the armor as Iron Man.
