Synopsis for "Xenogenesis Day of the Demons Part 1: Agents of Fortune"
Dr. Strange is attacked in his Sanctum by the Agent of Fortune, a member of a cult that wishes to bring about Xenogensis, that would birth demons on Earth. Seeking to steal the Eye of Agamotto, the Agent manages to defeat Dr. Strange in combat and make off with the Eye.
Elsewhere, Bruce Banner and Valkyrie visit Ledge in the hospital and are later invited to a nightclub by Dollar Bill. There they are witness to Devil-Slayer rejecting an offer by Vera Gemini. His attack is misunderstood by the two Defenders who attack, Banner turning into the Hulk. To avoid capture, Devil-Slayer escapes in his Shadow Cloak, taking Val and Hulk along with him.
While in Avenger's Mansion, the security alarm is set off by Jack Norriss who is looking for Nick Fury. And finally in the jungles of Mexico, two archeologists stumble upon the temple of the cult trying to bring about Xenogensis. As Dr. Strange watches via the Orb of Agamotto, he becomes determined to stop Xenogenesis no matter the cost.
