Synopsis for "Far Worse Than Death!"

The Red Skull has used the Cosmic Cube to switch bodies with Captain America and has turned Sharon Carter against him. The Red Skull then sabotages a government resting lab and drops Captain America (in the Red Skull body) near that location. Cap (in the Red Skull's body) eludes the authorities long enough to reach the Avengers' Mansion. Unfortunately, he's not able to convince the Avengers that he's actually Captain America. The Red Skull continues to toy with Captain America and uses the Cosmic Cube to transport him to the Isle of No Escape.

• The Red Skull, in Captain America's body, causes Rick Jones to break away from Captain America (Steve Rogers) and dissolve their partnership.
