Synopsis for "End of the Line"

The Avengers do their best to contain the wide spread damage left in the wake of the latest Onslaught attack. The mutants Post and Holocaust attack the Avengers and overwhelm them. However, the Avengers rally and defeat these evil mutants.

Notes

• Last issue of the first volume of Avengers.
• The Avengers next appear in Onslaught: Marvel Universe where many of them seemingly perish.
• Black Widow decides to keep patrolling the city and helping civilians (despite sustaining an injury) while the majority of the team goes to face Onslaught. She's one of the few to not "perish" in the final battle with Onslaught.
