Synopsis for "Bloody Encounter"
Thane and his warrior race the Brethren make several attack strikes around the world and are disappointed with Earth resistance. The Avengers attack hoping to be a bit more of a challenge, but unfortunately they're defeated and Cap is dealt a serious beating. Hank Pym, Beast, Quasar, and the Panther are able to restore the Collector to health and they begin a search through the Collector's eco-systems to find any information on the Brethren that may help defeat them.
