Synopsis for "The Demi-God Must Die!"
His powers increased by Pluto, ruler of Hades, Typhon the Titan, seeking revenge on Hercules, attacks Avengers Mansion, capturing the Beast and threatening his life if Iron Man refuses to obey him. Thus, Iron Man is forced to summon the Champions, then ambush Hercules, the Black Widow, and Iceman on their arrival. He then battles Hercules on Typhon's behalf, but their lengthy struggle leaves both himself and the Olympian unconscious. Before Typhon can act, however, the Beast breaks free and joins the recovered Iceman and Black Widow in attacking him. They occupy the Titan until Iron Man and Hercules can revive, whereupon Typhon vanishes, the odds having turned against him.
