Synopsis for "When Avengers Clash!"
The Vision has grown increasingly cold and distant, questioning his very right to exist, ever since Wonder Man's return from the dead. At last, he erupts in uncharacteristic anger, and he and Wonder Man come to blows. Iron Man, as chairman, allows their fight to conclude in a draw before sharply reprimanding both combatants. Elsewhere, at an isolated research community in the Canadian Rockies, a bizarre accident endows an evilly ambitious scientist, Frank Hall, with the power to control gravity. Calling himself Graviton, he takes over the entire installation, levitating it half a mile above the Earth. When the Avengers arrive in answer to a call for help, his incredible powers allow him to defeat them all with little effort.

- The Black Knight has been given another body restored to his spirit in the 12th century (as seen in Defenders #11). He will return to Earth-616 in Avengers #225.
