Synopsis for "A Ghost of Stone!"
The body of the Black Knight, turned to stone by the Enchantress, has remained in a storeroom at Dr. Strange's sanctum for months. Now, an unknown power brings the statue to life and sends it to attack the Avengers. In the mansion lab. Iron Man, Yellowjacket. and the Beast are taken by surprise and swiftly defeated by their stony assailant Proceeding to the kitchen, the rock-hard knight overcomes the Wasp and Captain America, as well. When the Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man return from shopping, they too fall victim to the living statue, finally, the Vision faces the knight. Unable to defeat the intangible android, the knight is instead forced to recall how he came to his present form, that the Black Knight's spirit now resides in the body of his 12th century ancestor, and that he himself is merely an animated statue. Driven to madness, the knight batters the diamond-hard Vision until his stone body is totally destroyed.
