Synopsis for "Home is the Hero!"
The Scarlet Witch returns alone to the Brand Corporation to retrieve the Serpent Crown of Other-Earth, but is attacked by the Living Laser, who takes the Crown for himself and vanishes. Wanda is left to battle Roxxon security troops, one of whom wounds her as she escapes. The other Avengers, meanwhile, have just returned to headquarters when the Whizzer comes to visit, but then inexplicably goes on a highspeed rampage, believing the heroes are some of his former foes, until brought down by Yellowjacket and the Wasp. During the confusion, Wonder Man revives and, moving more like a normal man than a zombie, makes his way from the mansion lab to the secret base of the Living Laser, who now wears the Serpent Crown.
Notes
- This story is continued and concluded in Avengers Annual #6.
- In this issue The Scarlet Witch is seen flying. This is explained later as she was wearing an experimental "flying belt".
