Synopsis for "Nightmare in New Orleans!"

Wonder Man collapses and is taken to the Avengers' lab, where science and the Scarlet Witch's magic combine to reveal that voodoo priests have transformed their former ally into a zuvembie. Soon the teammates are slogging knee-deep through a Louisiana bayou with their charge, when he suddenly awakens as if hearing his master's voice. The Avengers follow him to a voodoo ceremony being conducted by a costumed man called the Black Talon. As the heroes battle both cultists and zuvembies, Black Talon summons up the voodoo loa Damballah, who crushes the combatants to the ground. The sole exception is the Scarlet Witch who, when her magic proves insufficient against Damballah's might, turns to her hex power, defeating Black Talon and scattering his followers. Unfortunately, the captured cult leader knows only that Wonder Man was brought to him already resurrected by his unknown master.
