Synopsis for "At Last: The Decision!"

As the Avengers continue their deliberations, each member must decide whetherornot to stay with the team. Captain America elects to remain, while Thor tells the others how Hawkeye has decided to adventure out west with the Two-Gun Kid. The Vision and the Scarlet Witch also stay, as does the Wasp, but Yellowjacket opts out to continue his lab work. As for the recent recruits. Moondragon, whose snobbishness grates on several teammates' nerves, decides to leave, to their relief, while the Beast happily joins. Hellcat is also about to join, when Moondragon decides to take her alongand offer her special training. As Hellcat accepts, Yellowjacket returns, having reconsidered, and rejoins. The new line-up makes its first public appearance, but the gaiety of the occasion gives way to horrorwhen a large crate delivered to the mansion doorstep breaks open to reveal the supposedly deceased Wonder Man, walking and talking.

Notes

• This is the first actual appearance of Simon Williams since his "death" in Avengers #9.

• This issue contains a letters page which has a letter printed from MichaleKoolia, Jr. and and Apologia about last issue being a reprint. It also announces that Steve Englehart has been replaced as writer by Gerry Conway who was then serving as Editor in Chief. (Steve still insists he was not late getting the last issue in on time.)

• Ben Grimm appears as his human self, sitting in his Thing exoskeleton. (See Fantastic Four #170 for more details).
