Synopsis for "Crisis on Other-Earth"
The Two-Gun Kid elects to return to the 20th century with Thor and company, and Hawkeye decides to leave the Avengers and remain in the present-day southwest with his new ally. On the Squadron Supreme's homeworld. meanwhile, their battle with the Avengers is halted by the arrival of federal troops and President Nelson Rockefeller. The Avengers are shocked to see the Chief Executive wearing his world's counterpart of the Serpent Crown, the deadly Lemurian power object which had wreaked repeated havoc on their own Earth. The Vision steals the Crown, passes it to the Scarlet Witch, and their foes are forced to allow the Avengers safe passage. The Serpent Crown, however, is linked to all its numberless extradimensional counterparts and possesses its own sinister intelligence. It gradually seduces Wanda, who flees her teammates, pursued by the Vision, and is captured by the Squadron. While the android Avenger defeats Hyperion, Golden Archer, and Lady Lark. Wanda succeeds in breaking free of the Crown's influence.
