Synopsis for "The Assassin Never Fails!"
Dr. Don Blake operates to save Captain America's life, while Iron Man patrols the hospital corridors alongside a Thor LMD. Suddenly, the Assassin's costumed agents attack. Hawkeye and Iron Man have been given drugged coffee and fall swiftly, as does the robotic copy of Thor. The Assassin attaches a device to the Vision's cloak and the android falls, frozen in his diamond-hard form. Discovering that "Thor" is merely a mechanical double. the killer deduces the Thunder God's secret and is about to shoot Dr. Blake. when Hawkeye, Iron Man. and the Vision suddenly appear. They have failed to succumb to the poisoned coffee, thanks to Hawkeye's sensitive stomach and Iron Man's artificial heart, and have freed the Vision. To theirastonishment. the Assassin is unmasked as a woman. A gas grenade covers her escape, but when she orders her followers to fire on her pursuers, they fail to recognize her and open fire, killing her.
