Synopsis for "Go West, Young Gods!"
Thor, Moondragon, and Immortus are confronted by five legendary figures of the Old West: the Rawhide Kid, Kid Colt, the Two-Gun Kid, the Ringo Kid, and the Night Rider. They accompany the cowboy quintet to nearby Tombstone, Arizona, where they find Hawkeye waiting in the office of lawyer Matt Hawk, the Two-Gun Kid's civilian identity. The archer relates how he too had encountered Kang in the timestream, then found himself in the 19th century, which Kang plans to use as a stepping-stone towards conquering the 20th. He has already taken over Tombstone, and Two-Gun and his allies represent almost the only resistance to his nile. Deducingthat theirfoe will strike at a train carryinguranium ore, Hawkeye and the western heroes secretly follow its route, while a disguised Thor and Moondragon pose as passengers. Thus, when a gang of gunmen in Kang's employ attack. they are swiftly defeated and captured.
