Synopsis for "Torn (Part 1)"
Some time ago, Emma Frost and Cassandra Nova are in Genosha. Cassandra reveals that they are going to give Emma a "secondary mutation" hinting the origin of her diamond form. Then, in the present, Wolverine is in the Danger Room with the students for a combat lesson. He swiftly defeats them, testing Hisako's armour in the process. Hisako becomes annoyed at her incompetence. Outside, Kitty Pryde has a nightmare involving her father, who died in Genosha, whilst Emma, with Sebastian Shaw, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Cassandra Nova and the hooded figure called 'Perfection'. They discuss their plans to recreate the old Hellfire Club. Agent Hill and Special Agent Brand meet on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier about the new relationship due to the absense of Nick Fury. Hill says that she does not approve of S.W.O.R.D.'s methods, but Brand dismisses her as not being able to see the bigger picture. She then returns to 'The Peak', S.W.O.R.D.'s orbiting headquarters. Later, Kitty and Collossus discuss Kitty's nightmare and then her guilt at being so hostile to him at first. Collossus then kisses her as Emma listens outside with Perfection, who tells Emma that she knows that she truely loves Cyclops. Emma then goes in to Cyclops' room, and invites him to bed, telling him she has a surprise for him. It is then revealed that she has taken the form of Jean Grey (Earth-616).
