Synopsis for the 1st Story

Following the Phalanx invasion of Hala[1], Peter Quill is nursed back to health by the Kree on Aladon Prime. Due to the fact the Phalanx contaminate all technology they come in contact with, Quill has all his cybernetic implants removed.

After Quill recovers, he is brought before Kree Intelligence First-Tier Admiral Galen-Kor. Galen-Kor explains that Quill is to lead a group of expendable warriors into the Phalanx sphere if influence and destroy their facility which is manufacturing insertion packages to spread their contagion across the galaxy.
