Trivia

  • The title "Interview With the Vampire by Night" is taken from Interview With the Vampire, a 1976 gothic horror novel written by Anne Rice. The book proved popular enough to spawn several sequels and spin-offs, and was also adapted into a movie in 1994.
  • The name Inger Rinefeld may be a play on "Igor" and "Renfield", two characters made famous in the 1930s for their appearances in various Universal Horror films. Renfield was actually a solicitor named R.M. Renfield who originally appeared in the 1897 Bram Stoker novel Dracula. Actor Dwight Frye played the part of Renfield in the 1931 Universal Pictures adaptation of Dracula. Igor (sometimes spelled Ygor), was a hunchbacked criminal played by Bela Lugosi in the 1939 film Son of Frankenstein.
