Synopsis for "Mourning Prey"
Okefenokee Swamp, Florida, January 2020: Killraven and his band have been traveling through the Okefenokee Swamp, where the hero accidentally kills the children of a butterfly/human hybrid named Miss Prey. After an altercation between Prey and the Freemen, they are all split up.
Eventually regrouping with his fellows, Killraven finds Old Skull in the company of Miss Prey, with Old Skull having told Miss Prey that her children's death was an accident. With the misunderstanding sorted out, Killraven and his band make peace with the being.
Notes
- This would be the final issue of Volume 2 of Amazing Adventures. The series would return for a third volume would feature mostly reprints of old Uncanny X-Men stories. Killraven's saga would not be continued until 1983 in Marvel Graphic Novel #7
