Synopsis for "Pride of the Infantry"

Combat Casey and Penny Pennington are fighting off Japanese soldiers on the island of Kagua with their bare hands. This attracts the attention of the Imperial commanding officer who orders his men to capture the two American soldiers. Although Combat and Penny are holding their own very well, all it takes is one enemy soldier to sneak up behind them and knock them out with a log.

When they come to they find themselves prisoners of the Japanese who explain that they are going to use a bunch of landing barges to sail to the other side of the island where American troops are gathering and force Combat and Penny to signal American ships to trick them out of suspecting any danger. That night, Combat and Penny are left under guard but the two Americans manages to get the drop on their captors and escape into the jungles.

Fearing that Combat and Penny will warn their fellow troops the commanding officer orders his troops into the landing barges. However when they attempt to pull away from the shore they realize that their ships have been sabotaged as they begin to sink. When they swim to shore they are shocked to find that Combat and Penny have take control of their beach side machine guns and that they are trapped. Eventually the American soldiers arrivea nd capture the surrendering Japanese soldiers.

Synopsis for "Raid on the Reds!"

Combat Casey and Penny Pennington are rushing across a communist built bridge in Korea to blow up a section of it before a train can pass. The pair manage to blow up a section of the bridge causing the train to crash into the river below. They are then ambushed from behind by communist soldiers. However Combat and Penny hold their own, throwing all the enemy troops that don't fall under their guns into the river below.

The communists next send a tank to eliminate them, but the pair toss their grenades blowing up that section of the bridge, destroying the tank but trapping them on the only portion of the bridge still suspended over the water. Combat and Penny then dive into the river and use one of the thick railroad ties to protect themselves from enemy fire.

Thinking they failed their mission they return to base to learn that destroying the rail bridge has prevented the communists to the lines.

Synopsis for "Give 'Em Grendades!"

Clashing with communist forces, Combat and Penny and their fellow troops have run out of ammunition and start defending themselves with grenades. They then manage to force enemy troops into retreat with the commanding officer vowing revenge.

The American soldiers regroup and accept reinforcement when the commanding officer is surprised to find that his younger brother Bobby is among the new recruits. During the resulting counter attacks, the captain always order Bobby to stay back. When Combat and Penny inquire during a lull in the fighting the captain shows them a letter from his mother asking that Jack look after his younger brother and keep him safe.

During the next enemy attack the captain is captured. However when Combat and Penny gather the troops to go and rescue their commanding officer they are surprised when Bobby returns with the enemy troops are their prisoner and Jack had been freed. Jack then tells his troops how Bobby single handedly rescue him. He then writes a letter to his mother telling her not to worry as Bobby can look after himself.
