Do we need this?[]

Do we really need this category? Some of these characters may be normal for their species (Joyboy, Mojo), or have a weight that might tend to fluctuate depending on who's drawing them (look at the image on Dionysus' page, for instance). Why not just divide up weight like we have the Height category? --GrnMarvl14 22:49, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

I was viewing using 'Overweight' as a category for weakness, due to the related health concerns, such as; heart disease, type 2 diabetes, breathing difficulties during sleep, etc. --Greatestvillain 23:53, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Even though that might not be true in alien species (Joyboy, Spunge, Mojo), or their powers might give them certain exceptions from those things (Blob)?

Okay then, I will remove characters of an alien species and characters who's superhuman ability may give exceptions from the related health concerns, out of the category (except Earth-616 Blob, as he no longer possesses superhuman abilities and Earth-10005 Blob, as his excessive weight is due to an eating disorder). --Greatestvillain 02:05, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

Except that Blob's now down to 182 lbs, which is fairly close to normal for his height. And there are certain chemicals Mole Man has access to that help prolong life and likely fight back the effects of his added weight. Wolverine of Earth-9997 has his healing factor (or did he lose that? I can never remember)... And, really, in several instances, overweight's not a weakness, it actually assists in battles (which is what the "weakness" field in the template is usually referring to), such as Mutant X Cannonball. And, really, when do the categories for "impaired vision" and "flat feet" start in? Weaknesses should really just be defined weaknesses, not health problems, because that opens a whole can of worms we really don't need opened.

Fine then, just delete the category. --Greatestvillain 02:16, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
