History

The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants repeatedly fought the X-Men just as on Earth-616, with an encounter in Santo Rico and later aboard Asteroid M. However, turmoil within the X-Men caused Cyclops to lose his position as leader, and he angrily left Xavier's side. Seeking him out, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch persuaded him that his appropriate place in the fight for mutants' safety was with Magneto. Accepting their offer, Cyclops joined the Brotherhood to help Magneto rebuild it as a capable fighting force.
