History

Not much has been revealed about the history and origin of Blackjack. Presumably he had a long criminal career, at times teaming up or otherwise associating with villains such as Positron, Scythe and Chimera. Later, under unrevealed circumstances, Blackjack became a hero, joining the premier hero team of his generation, the First Line, several of whom he had come into conflict with on earlier occasions. Many years later, Positron would join the First Line, and the two developed a romantic relationship.

Blackjack was killed in action during a mission to the Middle Eastern country of Halwan in an attempt to rescue their teammate, Mister Justice.
