Blacie Glaxton was a gangster to whom Bennet Brant owed a large gambling debt. He blackmailed Brant into getting his sister Betty to contact Doctor Octopus when he was released from prison in order to spring Glaxton from prison himself. When Spider-Man caught up with Glaxton and Octopus on his getaway ship, Glaxton accidentally shot Bennet during a struggle with Spider-Man. He was arrested again and supposedly returned to prison[1].
