History

The origins of the artificial being known as Her are similar to those of her Earth-616 counterpart.

Her, known also as Eve, was an artificial being created after the failure of Him, better known as the cosmic hero Adam Warlock. After learning of Adam's existence, Eve grew to believe that their purpose was to be together, and sought him out.

Many years later, after the mutation of humanity, Adam and Eve lived together on Earth. Prior to the coming of the Final Host of Celestials, they were haunted by dreams of Kree soldier Mar-Vell. Mar-Vell sought to be reborn on Earth, and told Eve and Adam that it would happen through them. In order to facilitate this, they went to visit Alicia Grimm, the wife of Ben Grimm, who had gained the ability to create life following the mutation of the human population.[1] [2]

They two went into seclusion, however they would resurface again when Reed Richards began constructing the Human Torches to burn the Terrigen Mists out of the Earth's atmosphere in a bid to change humanity back to normal. Soon the mutated humanity fought against this, and seeing Her's pregnancy (since the mutations had rendered humanity sterile) as a sign of the old times, they kidnapped her after she gave birth to the reincarnated Mar-Vell.[2][3]

She became a prisoner of the Tong of Creel for the next three years. Adam, whose emotions were stunted by the Soul Gem, could not love his wife, and made no effort to find her, until he gave the gem up to resurrect Susan Richards. Now finally feeling love for his wife, he began searching for her.[4][5]

Finding her in the custody of the Red Ronin (really Dr. Strange's former assistant Wong), Adam killed him and freed Eve.[6] The two were later seen helping patients in a hospital for the suffering, after Mar-Vell succeeded in his mission of killing Death. Her current whereabouts are presently unknown.[7]
