Synopsis for "The Devil's Greatest Trick"
Back in the real world, Molly Hayes of the Runaways is the only one to notice that Nico and Chase are missing and turns to Henry Pym for help. Though she is suspicious, the rest of the Marvel Universe, for whatever reason, does not think twice about the mass disappearances. After speaking with Wolverine, Captain Britain, and Maria Hill, Henry Pym goes to investigate the disappearances. Unbeknownst to Henry Pym, Arcade had replaced the captive teens with Life Model Decoys to prevent anyone from becoming suspicious of their disappearance.
Solicit Synopsis
TWO KEY ISSUES: THE HUNT FOR THE MISSING TEENS! PLUS: THE START OF OUR NEXT BIG ARC “BOSS LEVEL!”
• Issue #13: Hank Pym searches for the kidnapped Avengers Academy students…by the special guest creative team of AVENGERS ACADEMY’s Christos Gage and Karl Moline!Notes
- This issue takes place before Wolverine & the X-Men #28, which is why Glob Herman is still at the Jean Grey School.
- During the Chicago ComicCon, Dennis Hallum stated "As for other notable supporting players -- keep your eyes open for issue #13. A lot like our issue #7 Arcade story, 13 is a very special "Avenger Arena" issue that takes place outside Murder World. It has some surprising guest stars and answers a few questions fans have had since the beginning."[1]
