History

Not much is known about the planet Autan or its location in the universe. It is a barren rock world that appears to have no plant life, but is rich in minerals including gold. The only apparent race on this planet are the Autanians. Until early 1949 the Autanians were enslaved by a creature known as the Brain Monster who used his army of Cube Men to force the Autanians to mine for gold, the substance the Brain Monster needed to survive. Eventually the Autanians refused to mine and were assisted by the Earth heroine known as Sun Girl who slew the Brain Monster freeing the Autanians.
